Curating & Care
On the 2nd of January, we hosted "Curating & Care," a sharing session with Tian Zhang. She invited us into her practice, emphasizing conversation, criticality, solidarity, and joy. This encompassed various collective projects realized through Pari (@pari_ari_), a collective-run gallery, and community space in Parramatta. We also explored her text, "A Manifesto for Radical Care or How to Be a Human in the Arts." Based in Dharug Country in western Sydney, Tian is an independent curator, facilitator, writer, and collaborative artist working at the intersections of art, cultural practice, and social change.
